Enabling Frontend Access

At the beginning of this document I mention that Bookyflow creates links in the frontend main menu to point to the Bookyflow plugin. This link is important and (particularly in Joomla) you shouldn’t remove it.

If for some reason that link has been removed, or it wasn’t added successfully when you installed Bookyflow, you can do it manually.

Wordpress

<img src="./42n41bjb.png" style="width:6.41667in;height:1.98786in" />Go to your Pages page in the Wordpress admin area and add a new page with the shortcode block containing [bookyflow:en-US]. Adjust the language here if you're using another language, e.g. [bookyflow:en-GB] or [bookyflow:es-ES]

On a typical installation of WordPress, when a page is added then that page is automatically added to your main menu. If you have a WordPress plugin installed that prevents that from happening then you’ll need to add the page to the menu yourself.

Joomla

In the CMS administrator's area use the toolbar to navigate: Menu -> Main menu. Click the New icon, then choose Component from the Components panel. You will be in the "Add Menu Item :: Component " screen. Enter a description (I recommend Bookings for now) and choose Bookyflow > Default from the Select option and click Save.

Now you can go to the front end of your CMS installation and refresh it. You should have the Bookings option in the main menu. Remember, to administer properties your user needs to be a property manager, so if they’re not already, make them one.
