We've managed to replicate this and have determined that on that page you need to:
This resolved the issue for us, and we understand it to be a bug in MySQL 5.6. We can't recreate it in MySQL 5.7 or later.
If you use an old version of kickstart.php to avoid that issue. (year 2022) for compatibility reasons, It has come to our attention that the latest versions (year 2022) of kickstart.php that are packaged in the Quickstarts will sometimes report that there's no database support.
We believe that this might be a bug in the kickstart script. Every time we've just hit Next to go to the next step and the installation has proceeded as expected.
Important: When you're running the Quickstart, if you see that warning, just ignore it. In fact, we have always ignored any of the warnings on that panel and it was never been a problem.
Sometimes the pre-installation page will throw up warnings (yellow) or even errors (red).
From Experience: We have installed hundreds of Quickstarts for clients and every time these warnings have not affected the installation or use of the software, so just ignore whatever warnings you may see here.We always do!.

The "Replace data" page can sometimes be buggy, in that it doesn't appear to finish properly. However, it does perform its purpose.
The process will have completed successfully even if it doesn't look like it has.
