Install from Web - Joomla

Install BookyFlow

The recommended method of installing into Joomla, if you're not using one of the Quickstarts, is to use the Install from Web process.

Installation Steps

1. In your administrator area, visit Extensions > Manage > Install
2. Click on the Install from Web tab
3. Use the search tool to search for BookyFlow
4. Click on the Install button
5. Follow the instructions

Installation Time

BookyFlow is a big application. If your internet speed is a little slow, it might take a minute to download all of the required files and unpack them.

Install the Plugin Manager

Once BookyFlow has been installed:

1. Go to Components > BookyFlow
2. In the horizontal menu option above, click on Dashboard > Plugin Manager
3. You will be prompted to install the Plugin Manager
4. Go ahead and do that

The page will reload when that's done and you will be presented with a list of plugins.

Install Required Plugins

Alternative Init Plugin:

• Quite near the top you will see the Alternative Init plugin
• Click Install

BookyFlow Asamodule Plugin:

• Scroll to the bottom and you will see the BookyFlow Asamodule plugin
• Click Install

After that plugin has been installed, visit System > Discover

Enable Plugins

If it prompts you to Install any plugins, go ahead and install them.

Then visit the System > Plugins page and search for "BookyFlow"

Make sure any plugins on that page are Enabled.

Test Shortcodes

Go to the Pages page and add a new one. Call it "Shortcodes test", and in it choose the Shortcode block.

In the shortcode enter:

{bookyflow terms &property_uid=1}

Save the page. You should now be able to visit the frontend of your site and see a new menu item called Shortcodes test. When you click on it, you should see the property's terms and conditions displayed.
